IMMUNITY BOOSTER - KADHA ( HERBAL TEA )



INGREDIENTS:

  1. Clove  (Laung)       x 1 tsp
  2. Crushed black pepper (Kalimirch)    x1 tsp
  3. Finely chopped ginger (adrak )    x1 tsp
  4. Tulsi leaves (Indian basil )        x1 tsp
  5. Honey     x1 tsp

METHOD:

  1. To make kadha, heat a saucepan, add clove, ginger, black pepper, tulsi leaves and dry roast on slow flame for 30 seconds.
  2. Add 2 cups of water, mix well and cook on medium flame for 5-7 minutes while stirring occasionally.
  3. Strain the mixture using a strainer in the deep bowl. Add honey and mix well

  1. Tulasi : It is also called as Indian basil is packed with vitamin C and zinc. This plant also has an anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal properties. This keeps you infection-free and healthy.
  2. Black pepper : This black, tiny spice works wonderfully to kill the inflammation-causing infection. It also reduces the risk of arthritis, cancer, and diabetes.
  3. Cloves : Consuming cloves regularly helps to boost your immunity as it is full of antioxidants.

  5. Honey or jaggery : Small quantity jaggery or honey balances the flavor. It is optional though.

IMMUNITY BOOSTER - LEMON TEA

  INGREDIENTS: Tea leaves  x1 tsp Honey  x1  tsp Lemon  x  1/2 PROCEDURE : Heat water in a pan. Once the water comes to a boil, simmer the heat. Add  tea  leaves and let them steep for a minute. Strain the  tea  in serving cups. Add  lemon  juice and honey and stir well. Serve immediately. BENEFITS : Sooth cold and cough, Bloating remedy Detox Aid in digestion. Helps in weight loss
